He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Nir; and his siblings, Itzhak Nir of Belgium and Shula Bak of Lakewood. He is survived by: his children, Elliott Nir (Ellen Kenny) of Pennington and Debra Nir of Brooklyn; and his granddaughter Eleanor Nir of Pennington.
