He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Duer Silver; and his stepmother Josephine Patricia "Pat" Silver. He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Silver; his son Robert S. Silver, Jr. of Howell; his mother Jeannette Silver of Howell; his siblings, Michael Marcotte of Brick and Patty Silver of Neptune; his parents-in-law, Pat and Marie Martone of Monroe; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Martone of Jamesburg and Sue Boulogne (Rob) of Jamesburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and friends.

For those who desire, contributions may be made to the family for unexpected expenses.
