He was predeceased by: his sister Frances Schumann. He is survived by: his wife Lola Kotterman of Freehold; his children, Jeff Kotterman (Tina) of San Diego and Jean Kotterman-Mumau of Old Bridge; and his grandchildren, Kaetlyn Kotterman, Noah Kotterman, Nathaniel Mumau, Ben Mumau and Amanda Mumau.
