He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert McCarthy and Claire McCarthy (Monaghan); his wife Debi McCarthy (Dougherty); his children, Andrew McCarthy (Melanie) of Manasquan, NJ, Kelley McGee (Kevin) of Jackson, NJ, Shannon Loschiavo (Joseph) of Jackson, NJ, Kaitlyn Mayer (Bryan) of Ewing, NJ and Christine Dougherty of Matawan, NJ; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Aiden, Ryan, Donovan McCarthy, Keri, Morgan, Kyle McGee, McKenzie, Joey Loschiavo, Tessa and Mary Cate Mayer; and his siblings, Kathy McCarthy (John), Kevin McCarthy (Debbie), Jim McCarthy (Deirdre), Clare Weiner (Stephen) and Ken McCarthy (Arda). He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
