He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Chmarenko and Zoya Dovhoniuk Chmarenko; and his sister Maria Snyder. He is survived by: his son Dan; his daughter-in-law Crystal Chmarenko; his sister Helena Baverov; and his grandchildren, Daniel and Natalie Chmarenko. He is also survived by 2 nephews, 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.
