She is survived by: her husband Carlo S. Vella of Howell; her children, Carl J. Vella (Bonnie) of Howell, Joseph A. Vella (Kate) of Howell and Cristina Gaj (Joseph) of Howell; her siblings, Joseph Santanastaso of Staten Island, Sophie Santanastaso and Rachel Castellano of Staten Island; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas, Giuliana, Gavin, Grace, Ryan and Erin.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
