He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Horvath and Concetta Horvath; and his brother Stephen Horvath. He is survived by: his wife Emelia Horvath of Howell; his children, April Ismaeil (Nat) of Howell, Joe Horvath, Jr. of Brick, Adam Horvath (Dana) of Toms River and Tara Davis (Edward) of Howell; his grandchildren, Jamie, Alaia, Julia, Gianna, Isabella, Kayla and Adam Jr.; his niece Melissa Wardle (David); his nephews, Stephen Horvath (Maria) and Joe Horvath (Linda); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Horvath of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by other loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, the family requests that in person services are private and under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
