He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Mazzarella and Irene Mazzarella; and his siblings, Louis Mazzarella, Genevieve Mazzarella and Assunta Improta.
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Mazzarella; his children, Joseph N. Mazzarella (Eileen Murphy) of New York City, NY, Eileen Knapp (Keith) of Howell, NJ and Jennifer Russo (Michael) of North Plainfield, NJ; his grandchildren, Claudia, Chloe, Paityn Knapp and Gregory Russo; and his sisters, Josephine Giacobbe of Spotswood and Dolores Francese of Brick, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
