It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James P Rooney of Howell, New Jersey, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret Rooney. He is survived by: his wife Edna Rooney (Durocher); his children, Jacqueline (John Udicious), Jeanette (Greg Speck), Kevin (Judy Rooney) and Joseph (Ana Rooney); his brother Thomas Rooney; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Caroline, Robert, Courtney and Kaiden James.

In lieu of flowers, at Jim's request, please make memorial donations to the St Vincent De Paul Society at St Luke's Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
