She was predeceased by: her husband James F. Gately; and her siblings, Robert, Edward, Jackie, Joseph, Catherine and Rosemary.

She is survived by: her daughter Rosemary Antonaccio (Robert) of Howell; her grandchildren, Kristin Nitti (Len) of Monroe and Kaitlin Zdziarski (Matthew) of Bordentown; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Braeden, Lucas and Landon; and her sister-in-law Marie "Connie" Haley of Toms River.

For those desire, memorial contributions in Edna's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
