We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 90, Edith L McCaffrey of Howell, New Jersey, born in Miami, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Malley; her former husband James McCaffrey; her brother Richard Schuster; and her stepdaughter Nora McCaffrey. She is survived by: her children, Skip Malley (Karen), Mike Malley (Sharon) of Jackson and Steve Malley (Joanne) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Barbara Wilson of Howell, Michael, Grace, John, Lauren, Emily, Connor, Justin and Brooke; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Clara, Steven, Lina and Nico; and her stepchildren, James McCaffrey, Jane Schwartz, John McCaffrey, Kevin McCaffrey, Mary Eileen Mayer and Patrick McCaffrey. She is also survived by 12 step grandchildren, and 9 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home - Brick (505 Burnt Tavern Rd, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martha's Church (3800 Herbertsville Rd, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gertrude's Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
