He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McLaren and Hazel McLaren; his wife Doris J. McLaren; his daughter-in-law Chom Sun McLaren; and his granddaughter Cynthia McLaren.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Nash (Donald), Kathleen McLaren (Darrell Pendry), Thomas McLaren (Pok Sun) and Paul McLaren; his grandchildren, Veronica, Renee, Ashley, Jennifer, Melissa, Sean, Steven and Lisa; and his great grandchildren, Brandi, Angelina, Austin, Daphne, Ryan, JoJo, Sarah, Emily, Isla and Liam.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Donald may be made to Samaritan Hospice.
