She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelina Giaimo and Anthony "Bates" Grasso; her son-in-law Gary Slater; her niece Franny Gallucci; her nephew Tommy Gallucci IV; her brother-in-law Tom Gallucci; and her friends, Grace Melillo and Marie Lamorte.
She is survived by: her husband John DeSimone of Newark; her daughter Angela Slater; her granddaughter Delaney Slater; her sister Catherine Gallucci; her nieces and nephews, John, Seth, Michael Gallucci, Debbie, Arielle and Gemma Gallucci; her grandchildren, Evan, Keenan, Kelly and Shawnessy Van Note; and her great grandchildren, Talon, Lily and Brenden.
The service will be subject to social distance restrictions, including the requirement of a mask for all visitors.
