She is survived by: her father Vincent Zjawin of Laurence Harbor; her husband Christopher Barreca of Howell; her son Adrian Barreca of Howell; her mother Barbara A. Zjawin; and her sister Michelle Bond (David Bond).
Barbara then returned to New Jersey where she became the Director of Data and Assessment at Foundation Academies in Trenton, NJ.
