She mothered two beautiful children, a daughter and a son. In spite of all her troubles she never forgot a special day. All her nieces and nephews gave her the nick name ‘sticker lady’ because she never forgot to sent them special stickers. She had a deep love for family and a large forgiving heart.
On Tuesday, October 5th, she was found unresponsive as she slept and was rushed to the hospital. She had been without oxygen too long and passed into the arms on God Thursday, October 7, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 29 years and a daughter, Amanda Lee Bramley (Thomas) of Bordentown, NJ and a son, Jeremiah Hassel of Wrightstown, NJ and one grandson of 3 months, Axton Bramley, both parents and two siblings, Daphyne Ann Shimeall (Jon) of Bakersfield, CA and Bryan Carter (Lesli) and her paternal grandmother, Carole Pitts Woodard all of Montgomery, Alabama. Many Nieces and Nephews, Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
She was taken from this Earth at only 46 years but she lives on as a Hero. She was able to donate her kidneys, her heart and her liver to four different people who now have a second chance at life because of her gracious giving of herself. She will never be forgotten and will be forever missed.
A Celebration of Her Life Service was held in Marlton, NJ for the Hassel family whom she loved dearly on Monday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m. A gathering of the Carter family and relatives was held in Grady, AL on Saturday, October 30th at 11:00 A.M. in celebration of her life and afterwards her remains were placed in Sentell Cemetery on the Ramer-Grady Rd, Montgomery County, Alabama.
