She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Lewis Cates and Martha Cates; and her husband Wilburn Jenkins. She is survived by: her son Ralph E. Jenkins of Upper Deerfield; her grandchildren, Michael Jenkins of Hopewell and Karen A. Smith (Christopher) of Millville; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Allison, Andrew Jenkins, Cameron, Bria Yellin and Kaiyah Underwood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
