With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Charles Wagner of Hopewell, New Jersey, born in Bronxville, New York, who passed away on November 20, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Wagner and Addie Wagner (Marano); his wife Dr. Roberta A. Mayer; his siblings, Lori Wagner Kattner (Lanny) of Charlotte and John Wagner (Sue); his aunt Jean (Wagner); and his uncle John Cannon. He was also cherished by many cousins; two nieces and six nephews; and eleven great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wagner Free Institute of Science, a preserved nineteenth-century natural history museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of his favorite places (http://wagnerfreeinstitute.org), or to any educational and cultural institution.
