He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Farmer and Betty McNeil Farmer; his wife Lillian Pearl Brooks Farmer; his sons, Wiley Farmer, Jr., Dennis Farmer and Che Farmer; and his siblings, John Henry Farmer and Sally Rebecca Farmer.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Hines (James), Edna Diaz of Pennsgrove and Richard Farmer; his siblings, Bertha Farmer of Wilson, NC, Virginia Farmer of Washington, DC and Alex Farmer, Jr.; and his cousin Eddie Cambell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
