He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kurtz Sr. and Sarah Dowling Kurtz. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Argust; his stepdaughters, Christina Fransckiewich (Douglas Harrison) of Leesburg, VA and Katharina Dempsey (Adam) of Sherrills Ford, NC; his siblings, William Kurtz (Richard Rush), Joan Hollendonner (Wayne) and Sue Fraczkiewicz; his grandson Ayden Dempsey; his niece Denise Romeo (Rocco); and his great-niece Julieanna.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Apple Funeral Home (2560 Pennington Rd, Pennington, NJ 08534). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus RC Church (54 E Prospect St, Hopewell, NJ 08525).
