She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike and Martha; her husband Joseph E. Sims; and her siblings, Jeanne, Donald, Carol, Douglas and Pamela J. Hutton.
She is survived by: her son James Gatine (Joann); her grandchildren, Lucy and Nico; and her great grandchild Jennifer E. Gatine.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one of Michal's favorite charities, Holbrook Indian School in Holbrook, AZ.
