He is survived by: his wife Susan Demarest (Slobodzinski); his children, Michelle Walters (Kevin Brennan), Heather Bernardi (Michael), Edward N. Demarest, Jr. (Vickie), Andrew Demarest (Holly) and Aaron Demarest; his grandchildren, Tessa, Jacob, Colin, Ian, Abe, Zane, Ariana, Laila, Landon and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Dayton, Jace and Knox; and his son-in-law Eric Walters.
