With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas F. Compton of Hope, New Jersey, born in Rahway, New Jersey, who passed away on September 12, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis, Sr. Compton and Ethel Compton; his siblings, Louis, Jr., Jack, Carl, William, Richard, Robert, Thomas, Ethel Torchia, Shirley Hother and Betty Selby; and his granddaughter Courtney Compton.
He is survived by: his wife Irene (Carlson); his daughter Michele; his grandson Brogan Wooley; his son Douglas, Jr. (Kristin); his granddaughters, Kylie and Katie; his sister May; and his siblings-in-law, Waco Delarosa, David and Denise Carlson.
