It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard P. Vergona of Hopatcong, New Jersey, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Vergona and Virginia Vergona (Carugati); his wife Michelle Vergona (Gwynn); his children, Brigit Kanelos (Peter), Michael Vergona Sidney (Andrea) and Richie Vergona; his grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Lily, Theo, Anthony and Stella; his great grandchild Dominic; and his siblings, Susan Melone, Michael and Steven Vergona. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
