“Dear Friend....I am in deep sorrow. When I moved to Rockaway Valley in 1963 at age 10, you were my first friend. We had a blast: built a fort in the woods, built a raft for the water, ice skated, rode our ride on mowers, and more. Your family took me on vacation to Maine, PA, and Point Pleasant. Recently, we reconnected and spoke on the phone. You were fighting cancer and told me you were tired and drained. You are in a better place, my friend. Thoughts and prayers with Sandy and family.”
