We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2019, at the age of 85, Vergle Wagner Sr. (Holmdel, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Roxie Wagner (Aslinger); his wife Lourtta Wagner (Carroll); his children, Frances Wagner and Franklin Lewis Wagner; and his daughter-in-law Leslie Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Virgie McGrath (Robert) of Jefferson, Polly O'Connor (Rodney) of Mooresville, Vergle M. Wagner, Jr. (Linda) of East Windsor and John Wayne Wagner of Staten Island; and his daughters-in-law, Velia Wagner-Guadagno and Bonnie Moran. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
