He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonarda Paparella and Cataldo Paparella; his brother Dominick Paparella; and his former wife Diana Paparella. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Paparella; his children, Donna Paparella of Brooklyn Heights, Anthony Paparella of Tinton Falls and Linda Paparella (Phoebe Hanshew) of Manhattan; his grandchildren, Sam, Annalisa, Michaelina, Antonia, Sula and Bo; and his stepchildren, Gregory, Jackie Valesi, Susan, David Janazzo, Peter and Cindy Valesi.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Holmdel Funeral Home (26 S Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church (165 Bethany Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery Holmdel Mausoleum (900 Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733).
