He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph (Mildred DeBold) and Aberdeen; his wife Mary M. DeBold; his children, Lorraine M. Martin (Kenneth), Joseph DeBold (Marina) and Robert S. DeBold (Kim O'Brien); and his grandchildren, Jack H. DeBold, Nicholas S. DeBold, Amanda Martin, Alannah Martin and Alexandra Martin.
