She was predeceased by: her parents, Oodit and Rajpatti; her husband Boysie Persaud; her granddaughter Priya; and her sons-in-law, Mahindra (Mike) and Vernon.
She is survived by: her children, Savitri Persaud, Compton Persaud (Indira), Lena Singh (Vinod), Randolph Persaud (Ingrid), Marie Persaud, Sita Singh (Bhesham) and Debbie Persaud; and her stepson Edgar Persaud. She is also survived by grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
