He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle W. Else and Lura Else (Sherwood); and his siblings, Merle S. Else, Vincent R. Else and Jane Else Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Greta Else (Johnson); his children, Karen Else Wyckoff (Scott) of Point Pleasant and Christy Ann Semper (Michael) of Bridgewater; and his grandchildren, Mark Allen Cambria, Nicholas Dominick Cambria, Emma Leslie Semper and Leah Nicole Semper.
