He is survived by: his wife Regina Dahir-Harris; his sons, Michael Harris of Hamilton and Gabriel Harris of Aberdeen; his siblings, Anne Egan, TJ Harris, Joe Harris and Paul Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Kamely Hayes (Mark), Stanley Dahir (Effie) and Matthew Dahir (Lisa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and cousins.
