He is survived by: his sister Arleen McGowan; his children, Susan Eckenrode (Pat), John McGowan (Patti), Robert McGowan (Nancy), Stephen McGowan (Angela) and Kathleen Mackrell (David); his grandchildren, Carissa Eckelman (Dustin), Bryan Eckenrode, Courtney Racioppi (Joe), Jack McGowan, Carter McGowan, Sarah McGowan, Tommy McGowan Katie McGowan, Harrison McGowan, Mike McGowan, Emily Mackrell, Lauren McGowan, Grant McGowan and Danielle McGowan; and his great grandchildren, Jake Eckelman and Nate Eckelman.
