She is survived by: her friend Joe Bonney; the mothers of children, Joanna Saltz of Bernardsville, NJ and Laura Newby of Granite Bay, CA; her sons-in-law, Scott Saltz and Andy Newby; her grandchildren, Spencer, Teddy, Everett Saltz, Zadie, Jones, Isabel and Sam Newby; and her siblings, Martin Spector, Alan Spector (Sarah) and Susie Hauptman (Cliff).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (in honor of her sister Cheryl) or to a charity of your choice.
