He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Salvatore Cassesa and Antoinette Cassesa; his brother Vincent Cassesa; his daughters, Teresa Gaurgue (George) and Lauren Pessolano (James); his grandchildren, James, Teresa and Amanda Pessolano; and his great grandchild Vincent Pessolano.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 15th 2024 at 4:00 PM and at 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Francis RC Church (308 Jefferson St, Hoboken, NJ 07030).
