He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vincenzo Amato and Felicia Elizabeth Amato; his significant other Josephine Amato; his children, Vincent Amato, Lisa Amato-Myers (Jerry), John Amato Jr. (Jane) and Josephine Amato-Lewis (Darryl); his grandchildren, Olivia Myers-Johnson (Joel), Pia Beck (Trevor), Giovanni Lewis, John Amato III, Darra Lewis, Aedan Amato, Halia Lewis, Jude Amato and Adrienne Amato; his great grandchild Sigrid Johnson; his sister Maryann Vitolo; his siblings-in-law, Dominick and Mary Amato; and his brother Vincent Amato. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers we would love you to continue John's charitable endeavors and give to the St Francis church to feed the poor as well as the Hoboken Soup Kitchen.
