He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary DeStefano and Pasquale DeStefano; his sibling Michele Russo (late Mayor Anthony Russo); and his niece Christina DeStefano. He is survived by: his friend Steve Johns; his brother Anthony DeStefano; his nephew Nicholas S. Russo (Olivia); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jenna Rae, Anthony Evan, Lucien Thomas and Nicolo James; his nephew Dr. Michael S. Russo; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lia Grace, Jack Anthony, Michele Stella and Michael Dean; his nephew Anthony P. Russo; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava Liana, Aliana Micaela, Clara DeStefano and Zachary Taylor.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Failla Memorial (533 Willow Ave, Hoboken, NJ 07030). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Church (308 Jefferson St, Hoboken, NJ 07030).
