He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Ali; his son Matthew Potter; his siblings, Richard Potter (Mary), Ellen (Phil), Dowling, Edward "Ned" Potter (Rosemary) and Timothy "Timmy" Potter (Mary); his cousins, Thomas Hogan (Joyce) and Maureen Salzmann; and his siblings-in-law, Maryalice, Megan Dunne, Joe Ali (Barbara) and Frank Ali (Laura). He is also survived by many nieces and, nephews.
