Smith of Ho Ho Kus, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Gloria shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gloria farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tania Syrotiuk and Nicholas Syrotiuk; her brother Eugene; and her husband Joseph E. Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Christine A. Smith (Tina) of Ho-Ho and Cynthia A. Smith of Ridgewood; her granddaughter Emily Jones; and also Stephen J. Jones of Woodcliff Lake.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home (306 E Ridgewood Ave, Ridgewood, NJ 07450). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations in Gloria's memory to the Ho-Ho-Kus fire department, police department or library would be greatly appreciated.
