She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gaetano Volpe (Anthony) and Guiseppina Volpe (Josephine Capitano); her sisters, Mary Brocca (Maria Volpe) and JoAnne Vasil (Joseph); her sister-in-law Gwen Ruggiero (Collins); her son Anthony; her daughter-in-law June Ruggiero; her children, Robert Ruggiero and Gina; her son-in-law Rick McDonnell; her grandchildren, Matthew, Allison, Nicholas, Ryan and Kelsey; her husband James Ruggiero; her son Matthew Ruggiero; and her siblings, Samuel Volpe (Salvatore), Joseph Volpe (Guiseppi) and Carolyn Jugus (Calogera Volpe). She was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
