He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose and Beatriz. He is survived by: his wife Darcy Bandeira DaSilva; his daughter Maria of Fatima Reis; his grandson John Carlos Reis; and his siblings, Antonio, Jose, Manuel, Maria, Casilda, Florinda and Palmira. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
