It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Elizabeth Edwards of Hillside, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Edwards; her daughter Teresa Hinsch; her parents, Josephine and Tom; and her siblings, Thomas, Jack, James Meehan, Patricia Katsoudas and Margaret Meehan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean (Thomas Schroeder) and Elizabeth Abad; her grandchildren, Sarah Higgins, Jennifer Simbulan (Jonathan) and Thomas Schroeder; and her granddaughter-in-law Jenny. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Union Funeral Home - Lytwyn & (1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
