He was predeceased by: his parents, Jamil Rizik Ghanem and Nimeh Ghanem (Bajalia); and his brother Nader Ghanim. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Gianna Marie, Vanessa Maria, Veronica Anne and Valerie Rose; and his siblings, Ricky Ghanim (Rizik), Nahla George (Ghanem), Mary Fregans (Ghanem), Aida Neil (Ghanem) and Salwa Rofrano (Ghanem).
