She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, David Sobocinski (Jennifer), Jill Hanson (Chris) and Jennifer Nelson (Ben); and her grandsons, Dylan, Dawson, Declan Sobocinki, Brett, Cole Hanson, Samuel and Lucas Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Sandy's name to the Helping Hand Food Pantry or to the Valley Hospital's hospice or palliative care services.
