He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his sons, Robert Jr. (Donna), Gerard (Axelle), Edward (Kerry) and Christopher (Nicole); his grandchildren, Justine, William, Katherine, Allison, Gabrielle, Jillian, Carolyn, Madeleine, Emma, Charlotte, Grace and Claire; his siblings, Edward, David and Kathleen; and his siblings-in-law, Maryanne and Larry. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
