She was predeceased by: her brother David Boutwell (Shirley); and her parents, Howard and Mary (Parrott). She is survived by: her husband Joseph H. Esola; her children, Anthony (Suzanne) and Jodi (Jason Post); her brother James Boutwell (Judy); and her grandchildren, Jenna, Jessie and Ryan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made towards a memorial bench in Judi's honor at Valley Hospital.
