He was predeceased by: his wife Jolán; and his son William. He is survived by: his son Robert (Leslie); his granddaughter Jennifer; his daughter Jennifer (Paul); and his brother Tibor Szépvölgyi. He is also survived by 1 granddaughter, 5 grandsons, and 1 step-granddaughter.

Donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
