She is survived by: her children, Michael Bates (Susan) of Ohio, Paul Bates (Michele) of North Carolina, Patricia Bates Smith (Peter) of New Jersey, George W. Bates, Jr. (Rose) of New Jersey and Richard Bates (Ann) of New Jersey; her sister Margaret (Peggy); her children, Margaret and Robert (RJ); her grandchildren, Lisa, Andrew, Jennifer, Richard, Matthew, Lauren, Kevin, Sean Lindsey, Lexi, Ian and Brianna; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Georgia, Ava, Richard, Elizabeth, Alaina, June, Iris, Luna, Cameron and Riley; and also Robert (late Bobby). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
