He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar T. Eckerstrom Sr. and Bessie Williams; and his siblings, Carl Eckerstrom, William Eckerstrom, Robert Eckerstrom and Donna Kulak (Eckerstrom).
He is survived by: his wife Joan (Yulick); his daughters, Linda Rizzon (Richard), Susan DeGraw (Emory) and Joan Barrett (Glenn); and his grandchildren, Timothy, Christopher (Karla), Nicole, Taylor, Casey and Kyle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
