He was predeceased by : his parents, Vincenzo (Immacolata Damiani) and Mario; and his daughter Lisa Damiani. He is survived by : his wife Giovanna; his children, Mary Lou Damiani of Towaco, NJ and Mario Damiani Jr. of Towaco, NJ; his siblings, Rocco Damiani (Ann) of Palm Beach, FL, Angela Grieco (Sal) of Hillsborough, NJ, Dino Damiani of Hillsborough, NJ and Peter Damiani (Nancy) of Barnegat, NJ.; and also Rory. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service (60 N Beverwyck Rd, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X R. C. Church (24 Changebridge Rd, Montville, NJ 07045). An entombment was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Chapel (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
