She was predeceased by: her parents, Rocco Richey and Adele Richey (Kuchinsky); her husband Robert Staats (Bob); her son William Staats, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Staats; and her sister-in-law June Richey.
She is survived by: her children, Robert A. Staats, Jr. (Dorothy) of Skillman, NJ, Deborah Strauss (Robert) of Somerset, NJ, Charles Staats (Julie) of Belle Mead, NJ, Sherry Baldwin (David) of Yardville, NJ, Theodore Staats of Charlotte, NC and Cynthia Daly (Michael) of Edison, NJ.; her grandchildren, Stephanie Staats, William Staats, Jr. (Tina), Amy Staats, Brian Staats (Kelley), Jason Strauss (Katie), Michael Strauss (Angelina), Laura Strauss, Melissa Fischer (Brian), Evan Staats (Masami), Scott Staats (Mallory), Kahler Staats (Alex Mann), Heather Guagliardo (Matthew), Daniel Baldwin (Rachel), Kelly Baldwin, Megan Daly, Tim Daly and Ryan Daly; her siblings, Gene Richey (Denise Wilson) of Muncy, Robert Richey (Sandy) of Hamilton and Patricia Donohue (Patrick) of Columbia; and her sister-in-law Peggy Varga of Belle Mead. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
