He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Sr. Puia and Helen Puia; his siblings, Josephine (Norman Kirkpatrick) and Ralph (Marilyn); his brother-in-law John Payne; and his nephew Kenneth Payne.
He is survived by: his former wife Beth Puia of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Kory, Jaden, Gavin, Cici and Rex; his siblings, Sarah Payne of Whiting, Frank (Marge) of Las Vegas and Carmen Jr. (Bonnie) of Manville; and also, Amy Puia of Somerset, Daniel Puia of Hillsborough and Jenny Cuaresma (Albert) of Montgomery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
